DEVIATION: During an unexplained power outage that blacked out the town of Beacon Hills, Lydia was dropped off and left in the care of Derek Hale by Scott McCall while he and Stiles went back out in an attempt to figure out the source. It was one of the coldest nights in the history of the town and Lydia had not been prepared for it. During her stay, Derek attempted to help keep her warm, offering his comforter and an arm around her to share body heat. What started out as innocent escalated into a challenge and culminated in a secret friends-with-benefits relationship that they have been effectively hiding from the pack for over a month.
